Who Are We?

21 August 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

How quickly we can lose our history, forget those or what came before, or forget the meaning of what we have now. Do we value our local stories? Do we hear or see them enough? Do we tell of our own struggles, to be who we are now – in this city? Who we are can be so many things.

Join Toi Warbrick, Kane Parsons, Tanu Gupta, Sue Pugmire, Ling Wang  and Tania Kopytko as they delve into the question Who Are We? through music, dance, theatre and ngā taonga pūoro. This project is a response to the Palmerston North 150 year celebration.

There are two performances in two venues:

Te Manawa, Saturday 21 August, 2pm. This is a performance trail. Meet in the Te Manawa foyer. Free.

Globe Theatre, Sunday 22 August, 2pm. Seated theatre performance. Entry by donation. Performance is approximately 1 hour. Suitable for all ages.
