As part of our Solar Tsunamis Exhibition, Te Manawa is offering a chance to view the short planetarium show, Waihiko me te Parawhenua Kōmaru | Waihiko and the Solar Tsunami.

Developed by by Tūhura Otago Museum and Ariki Creative, this is a short film about the power of the sun and how solar storms can affect electricity on Earth.

Te Manawa is screening this show for one day only on Saturday 5th April.

Screenings will run in the Te Rangahau Curiosity & Lab (accessible via the main Foyer) at the following times:

• 12:00 pm 

• 1:00 pm 

• 1:30 pm 

• 2:00 pm 

• 2:30 pm 

• 3:00 pm 

• 3:30 pm 

• 4:00 pm
