Build your love of bicycling with Te Manawa and the Active Transport team from Sport Manawatū!

At the museum on 25 March, from 11am until 2pm, we’ll have bicycles on the brain. Old bikes are coming out of our collection for you to check out, and Sport Manawatū will have their pro cyclists there to take you for a spin around the block every half hour. You can use your own bike, and Green Bikes Palmerston North will be on hand to lend you a bike if you need.

We’ll be joined by the roading team from PNCC, who’ll give you the run-down on staying safe on the roads, and there’ll be other fun riding-related activities happening. We’ll have our printing equipment out too; it’s a gold coin to print your own bag, but all other activities are free.
