Kids will get to dig for dinosaur fossils in our dino dig sandpits and recreate Earth's timeline using fun, prehistoric themed stamps.

Do you love dinosaurs and books? Grab the kids and join Palmy City Library at Te Manawa Museum for a dinosaur-themed story time session.
Explore the museum after dark and visit the dinosaurs as they sleep. But shh! Don’t wake them up! Watch volcanoes explode, decorate fossils, and much, much more.
Inspired by the We Come from the Earth exhibition, work with others to create a natural artwork. This will be an outside activity if the weather is good.
Join Central Energy Trust Wildbase Recovery Centre for a Wild Day Out at Te Manawa. Learn how Wildbase supports native wildlife recovery and what we can do to help.
NOA is a program designed to create a welcoming environment for those who would otherwise not consider the museum to be a place for them.
NOA is open to anyone and generally attended by differently abled folks.
The programme runs every Wednesday morning from 10am - 12pm. NOA runs during school term times and does not run during school holidays.
