Our hosts will help you select an appropriate activity from the theme of your choice, making it as easy as possible. You’ll have the venue for 90 minutes – plenty of time for cake and curiosity!

Please note – the completion of this form does not constitute a confirmed booking. You will receive written confirmation once a room and a host has been booked. A 50 per cent deposit is required one week prior to party date.

Decorations: Hosted parties will be decorated with a banner and balloons and/or bunting. If you wish to bring your own decorations, please deliver these 48 hours prior to party if you would like our hosts to set these up – or please call us if you want to come in early on the day to decorate the space yourself.

Food and Drink: Te Manawa does not supply party food and beverages but you are welcome to bring your own. Please remember that food and drink is not permitted in galleries and must be limited to the party room.

Supervising children: Our hosts will help facilitate your party (fully-hosted option) but appreciate your cooperation with supervising children both in the party room and wider Museum complex.

Parking: Pay and display public car parks are located directly in front of the main entrance of the Museum building on Main Street, and on Main Street itself.
