International Museums Day

Museums connect people to the past, present and to each other. Join us on Thursday 18 May for a fun-filled day connecting to others. Discover Museum in a Box, have a bit of fun with a ‘Speed Chat’ session and enjoy a chat with a new friend, play one of our giant games that you probably played as a child, and explore our exhibitions!
At Te Manawa Museum we foster an inclusive and welcoming environment and love to bring people together.
Speed chats will happen at 11.00am, 1.00pm and 2.00pm
