Step into the virtual world at Te Manawa! On the weekend of 17 and 18 September, we’ll have four virtual reality headsets in the Museum for you to try. Choose your activity from a selection of programs – from action to relaxation – and then spend 15 minutes immersed in a new reality, beamed directly into your eyes. No video game experience necessary!

The headsets are connected to televisions, so other visitors will be able to watch your digital exploits in real time.

$5 per 15 minute session; no booking required. Ages 7 and up.
